Calvin Klein electric as never before.

Calvin Klein Collection SS 2013

According to Nicole Phelps, CK girl is particularily pin-up this season yet intellectual still (http://www.style.com/fashionshows/review/S2013RTW-CKLEIN). Oh, yes, she is. And she is apparently well-educated in both moder art and physics.

Lovely geometry by Altuzarra.

Altuzarra has never been the brand to give me thrills. I mean, I likes it but when thinking about New York fashion scene I'd rather name Rag and Bone or Proenza Schouler as the labels that make me all excited. Imagine how pleasantly surprised was I when I saw this gorgeous dress just flicking through pictures from Altuzarra's show for the sake of decency. I write a blog about fashion, I know what's going on.

But this design simply made my day because of it's brillant harmony between vertical and horizontal lines. It's perfectly balanced. Stripes on the top, fringes on the skirt, the cut of the top, the lenght of the dress, amazing proportions, great for the garment itself but also for the one to wear it.

Good job, guys!

Waiting for what? Victory or victory?

I'm not saying anything, right? I'm just waiting. But from what I see I conclude that I won't be disappointed. So watch out, ladies and gentelmen. Not only Hedi, but also Paweł Kwiatkowski, my dear Polish friend, whom I abandoned for a while and for what I'm truly sorry. He's a brilliant printmaker working in Łódź and the last work of his reminded me of what Hedi can do to one's mind:

Was Euro 2012 really such a great disaster?

Although Polish national football team did not show their best, we can always count on our representatives in fashion championships. No matter whether the choice of colours above is a coincidence or not, Poland has a grounded position in the industry owing to our beautiful models. Watch Magdalena, Anja, Monika, Daga, Jac and Zuzanna at New York Fashion Week, especially the first of them:

Isn't she simply breathtaking?

Fashion is too heavy.

Moominmamma is the archetype of a Western women. Always with her bag. Even in rush and danger. And bags are simply too heavy to be elements of a comfortable and joyful lifestyle as shown below:

I would say that a bag can do even more damage to female's health that a corset would have done in the past. We deform our spines, suffer from back, shoulders and neck pains and limit our motion range for what?

Ladies, we simply suffer for fashion.

That's why I just adore the project of a courageous young Polish stylist studying in Milan, Ewa Wojcik (http://thestylistmilano.blogspot.com/):

I'd rather get this purse than that Celine bag worn around by every other fashion model:
